This service is an introductory groom for kittens up to 5 months old. Introducing kittens early to professional grooming goes a long way in helping them overcome the anxiety of something scary and new making them more confident and social throughout their adult life. When cats are accustomed to the grooming process, it becomes a much lower risk when they are in need of it in their senior stage of life.

Standard grooming service. Regular grooms of every 4-8 weeks prevent matting, hairballs, excessive shedding, in-grown toenails, and even ear and eye issues.

This trim is quite close to the skin, only leaving a mane or bobblehead, hair below the front elbows, rear hock bone and either a full tail or a pom pom style. Lion cuts are a great option for both short and long-haired healthy, adult cats to prevent matting or reduce shedding. Includes the bath and blow dry as well.

If the lion trim is too short for you, this is a perfect alternative which is preferable for older or more particular cats who are not candidates for the Lion Trim. Less hair, but leaves the cat with a cute teddy bear style look. Includes everything in the Bath & Comb Out groom, plus a haircut leaving approximately 3/8-3/4 of an inch of hair. Tail can be left full or trimmed in a pom pom style. This haircut can not be performed on coats with clumps or tangles and cats MUST be on an 8 week schedule or less.

Severe or large areas of matting will require a Lion Trim for the cat's comfort. Cats needing a Lion Trim for severe mat removal include a complimentary follow up Bath & Comb Out 8 weeks after to promote healthy hair. Going forward your groomer will discuss future grooming schedules and services that will prevent mats from returning and to keep your cat healthy and mat free.
